# DragBin Refund Policy

DragBin wants you to be completely satisfied with our secure cloud storage services. This policy outlines our approach to subscription refunds.

## Free trial

All new DragBin accounts include a 14-day free trial. Cancelling during the trial results in no charge and no refund needed.

## Monthly subscriptions

We generally do not provide prorated refunds for partial months. On cancellation, service remains active until the end of the current billing period. In exceptional cases (e.g., technical issues blocking use), we may issue a prorated refund — evaluated individually.

## Annual subscriptions

- **Within 14 days of purchase or renewal:** full refund of the annual fee.
- **After 14 days:** prorated refund for the unused portion, less a 15% administrative fee.

Service remains active until end of billing period unless immediate termination is requested.

## Refund exceptions

No refund where there is a violation of Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, requests made more than 30 days after purchase, issues outside our control (your device, connection, setup), subscription downgrades, or data loss due to user error including lost encryption keys or passwords.

Custom refund terms may apply per your service agreement — contact your account representative.

Include your account email, date of purchase, plan type, reason, and any order/transaction numbers.

## Processing time

- Credit/debit card: 5–10 business days
- PayPal: 3–5 business days
- Bank transfers/other: 7–15 business days

## Account data after cancellation

Account remains active until end of billing period. After subscription ends, you have a 30-day grace period to download files before they may be permanently deleted. Due to zero-knowledge encryption, DragBin cannot access or recover your files — back up important data before subscription expires.
