## Work privately, then store privately with DragBin

DragBin protects files with [client side](/client-side-encryption/), [quantum resistant encryption](/post-quantum-encryption/) (ML-KEM + AES-256) keeping sensitive data private with a [zero knowledge](/zero-knowledge-encryption/) security architecture.

Step 1

Add your images, then drag them (or use the arrow buttons) into the order you want.

Step 2

Choose the frame speed, looping, width, and whether frames fit or fill the canvas.

Step 3

Press Make GIF, check the result, and download it.

## Why Use This GIF Maker?

It does the one job well: still images in, a clean animated GIF out, without an account, a watermark or an install.

### Easy Reordering

Drag frames with a mouse, or move them with buttons on a phone or keyboard.

### Speed and Looping

Set the delay in milliseconds or frames per second, and loop forever, once, or a set number of times.

### Mixed Sizes Handled

Frames of different shapes are fitted onto your chosen background or cropped to fill.

## Private by Design

The GIF is built on your own device. Your images are not uploaded, so nobody else sees them.

### Stays on Your Device

Resizing and encoding happen in your browser tab. Only the tool's code is downloaded, from dragbin.com.

### Live Preview

See the animation play with your settings before you spend time encoding.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Frames are resized and encoded into a GIF inside your browser tab. The page only downloads its own code from dragbin.com (plus image decoders for AVIF or JXL if your browser can't open those itself). Your images are never sent to a server.

### How many images can I use, and how big can the GIF be?

Up to 100 frames, each file up to 50 MB. The output is 800 pixels wide by default and can go up to 1,200 pixels on its longest side. Larger GIFs get very heavy, very fast.

### What happens if my images are different sizes?

Every frame is scaled to one shared size, based on the first frame's shape and the width you choose. Fit shows each whole image on your background colour; Fill covers the frame and trims the edges.

### How do I control the speed?

Set how long each frame stays on screen in milliseconds, or switch to frames per second. GIFs store timing in hundredths of a second, so values are rounded to the nearest 10 ms, and the fastest speed is 20 ms per frame (50 fps) because most browsers slow down anything quicker.

### Does the GIF keep transparency?

No. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour you pick. Each frame is also limited to 256 colours, which is a limit of the GIF format itself, so photos can show slight banding.

### Can I use an animated GIF or a video as input?

Not as an animation. If you add an animated GIF, only its first frame is used, and videos aren't supported here. Add still images such as JPG, PNG or WebP.
