# Batch Image Editor: Resize, Crop and Convert in One Go

Build a recipe once, then run it on a whole folder of photos: resize, crop to a social media shape, rotate, adjust, add a text watermark and save in the format and file size you need. It all happens in your browser tab.

Drop photos or a folder here, or click to choose

Note: your images are processed on this device and never uploaded. The page downloads some of its own code from dragbin.com when needed: AVIF support, and a HEIC decoder (about 1.5 MB) if your browser can't open HEIC photos itself. Output files have no EXIF metadata. Recipes you save stay in this browser only.

## Work privately, then store privately with DragBin

Processing a file in your browser keeps it private in the moment. The files you keep and share need that same guarantee for the long run. DragBin protects files with [client side](/client-side-encryption/), [quantum resistant encryption](/post-quantum-encryption/) (ML-KEM + AES-256) keeping sensitive data private with a [zero knowledge](/zero-knowledge-encryption/) security architecture.

## How to Edit Images in Bulk

Add your photos, set up the recipe on a live preview, then run it on every file.

Step 1

Drop photos or a whole folder. The first image becomes the live preview.

Step 2

Pick a starter recipe or build your own: add steps, put them in order and choose the output.

Step 3

Run the recipe and download each image, or everything as a zip that keeps your folders.

## Why Use This Batch Image Editor?

Most photo chores are the same few edits repeated on dozens of files. A recipe does them in the same order, the same way, every time.

### Steps in Any Order

Resize, crop to 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16 or 3:2, rotate, flip, adjust colour and add a text watermark, in whatever order you need.

### Reusable Recipes

Save recipes in this browser, or export one as a small file to reuse on another computer or hand to a colleague.

### Whole Folders

On a computer, pick or drop a folder. The zip keeps the same subfolders, with each file renamed to its new format.

## Your Photos Stay on Your Device

Batch jobs often mean a whole shoot or a client's product photos. None of them leave your device.

### Not Uploaded

Images are read, edited and saved inside the browser tab. Only the tool's own code is downloaded, from dragbin.com.

### Full Resolution

The preview works on a small copy so it updates instantly. The batch runs on the original pixels.

### Hit a File Size

Need every photo under 500 KB for an email or a form? The size target finds the best quality that fits each one.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every step runs in your browser tab and the finished files are saved straight from it. The page does download some of its own code from dragbin.com when it needs it: the AVIF encoder and decoders, and the libheif HEIC decoder (about 1.5 MB) if your browser can't open HEIC photos itself. Your images are never sent.

### What is a recipe, and can I reuse it?

A recipe is an ordered list of edits, such as resize, crop to an aspect ratio, rotate, flip, adjust, watermark, followed by an output format. Save it in this browser to use it again later, or export it as a small JSON file to move it to another computer or share it. Imported files are checked strictly and anything the tool doesn't recognise is rejected.

### Can I process a whole folder?

Yes, on a computer. Use Choose folder or drop a folder onto the box. The zip download keeps the same subfolders, with each file renamed to its new format. Phones and tablets can't pick folders, but you can select many photos at once.

### How does the file size target work?

For each image the tool looks for the highest JPEG, WebP or AVIF quality that fits under your limit. If even a low quality is too big, it scales that image down step by step until it fits. PNG isn't offered here because it's lossless and has no quality setting to lower.

### Is there a size limit?

Each file can be up to 100 MB, and up to 500 files are taken per drop. Browsers, especially on iPhone and iPad, can't safely work with images above about 16.7 megapixels, so if a step would produce something larger the tool tells you instead of failing silently. A Resize step early in the recipe avoids this.

### Does it keep my photos' EXIF data?

No. Each image is redrawn and re-encoded, so the new files carry no EXIF metadata such as GPS location, camera model or the original date. The photo's rotation is applied to the pixels first, so portrait shots stay upright.
