## Why Use This Image Rotator?

It does one job quickly. There's nothing to install and no account to create, and the preview shows exactly what you'll get before anything is saved.

### Runs in Your Browser

Works on desktop and mobile without installing an app.

### No Signup

Open the page and start rotating. No email, no account.

### Batch Friendly

One rotation or flip applied to every image you add, with live thumbnails.

## Private, Format-Preserving Rotation

Your images are processed on your own device and never uploaded. Each file comes back in the format it went in, re-encoded at high quality.

### Stays on Your Device

Images are redrawn locally with the browser's canvas and never sent to a server.

### Same Format Out

JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, WebP and AVIF stay as they are.

### Metadata Removed

Saved files carry no EXIF data, so location and camera details are dropped.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Rotating and flipping happen in your browser using the canvas API, so the images never leave your device. The page itself loads from our site like any website, but your files are not sent to it. Saving an AVIF (or a WebP in Safari, which can't encode WebP natively) downloads an encoder file from dragbin.com the first time, but your images themselves are never sent anywhere.

### Can I rotate several images at once?

Yes. Add as many images as you like and the same rotation and flip is applied to all of them. Each thumbnail shows the result before you save, and you can download files one by one or together as a zip.

### Which formats are supported, and is the format kept?

JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. Each file is saved back in its original format, so a PNG stays a PNG and a JPG stays a JPG.

### Is JPG rotation lossless?

No. The image is redrawn and re-encoded at high quality (92 out of 100), which is visually very close to the original but not bit-for-bit identical. PNG output is lossless. If you need truly lossless JPEG rotation, use a desktop tool such as jpegtran.

### Is there a size limit?

Each file can be up to 50 MB and about 16 megapixels. Larger images exceed what some browsers, notably Safari on iPhone and iPad, can draw reliably, so the tool tells you instead of producing a blank image.

### Does it keep photo metadata?

No. Camera orientation is applied first so the photo looks the way your camera showed it, and the saved file contains only the image, without EXIF data such as location or camera model.
