When you upload, this browser keeps a private owner key for each transfer in its own local storage. That key is what lets you see the download count and delete early -- nobody else can. Filename and contents are ciphertext on our side; the key travels only in the link fragment. ### Resumable, straight to storage Large files go up in 16 MB parts directly to object storage. Drop offline, reload, come back -- the upload continues from the last finished part. ### Gone in 24 hours Every transfer is deleted 24 hours after upload, full stop. Delete earlier from this page whenever you like. ## Questions ### Is it really end-to-end encrypted? Yes. Your browser generates a random 256-bit key, encrypts the file with AES-256-GCM in 1 MB frames, and uploads only ciphertext. The key is placed in the part of the link after the # -- browsers never send that part to any server, so we can't read your file, your filename, or the key. ### How long do files stay available? 24 hours from upload, then the file is deleted from our storage -- no extensions, no exceptions. If you need files that stay, that's what a DragBin account is for. ### What's the size limit? 100 GB per file, and 100 GB per day per network. One file per link. Uploads resume if your connection drops or you reload the page. ### Do I need an account? No. This browser remembers the transfers you created (locally, in its own storage) so you can copy the link again, see the download count, or delete early. Clear your site data or switch devices and that list is gone -- the files still self-destruct after 24 hours. ### Can I protect the link with a password? Yes. The password wraps the encryption key inside the link itself -- it's checked in the recipient's browser, never sent to us. A wrong password simply fails to decrypt. ### What happens if the recipient's browser can't handle a 50 GB download? Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) on desktop stream straight to disk with no size limit. Firefox and Safari stream through a service worker. Phones and very old browsers can only handle files under 1 GB in memory -- the page tells the recipient which it is. ## Need files that don't expire?
